What a fun time Christmas is. I love the whole spirit of the season. It's so fun to watch how excited the kids get and to see how much they actually do know about the real meaning of Christmas.
Christmas Eve is such an exciting day! It still, even in my old age, makes me excited. I had to work Christmas Eve day this year, but I guess I have to take my turn sometime, right? Thankfully we were only open until 3. And I felt pretty lucky to be out of there by 3:45, sorry if you were one of the people that got the lights turned our on ya but if you don't have your presents bought by 3 on Christmas Eve it's not my fault!!
We had a small crowd for Christmas Eve this year. Kurtis' parents were out of town, so it was just us, my parents, and my brother. Small crowd but lots of fun! We had a yummy dinner and played some fun games.
Halle really liked the dessert and insisted on feeding herself so she ended up a mess!
We always let the kids open one present on Christmas Eve, and they always get super excited even though they know that it's just going to be PJ's.
Halle really didn't get that strainer for Christmas, she just has a fetish with them for some reason.
Our attempted photo at the kids in their new PJ's before they headed to bed...always an interesting time:)

As usual, we pretty much got to sleep in on Christmas morning. Our kids aren't into the waking up before light thing yet, thank goodness. I'm always awake on Christmas morning before they are, and I'm always wishing they would hurry and wake up so I can see their excitement.
Halle got a kitchen, some books, and some clothes.
Tate got just what he wanted...Just Dance 3! Funny story...Austin asked Santa for a billion different players jerseys, and Santa decided to bring Tate a few as well. So on the couch was a BYU #32 basketball jersey, a Broncos #24 football jersey, and then a Utah #3 football jersey. The Utah jersey is red with a white number...kinda like the Delta football players wear. So he comes out and says,"Mom! A Jimmer Fredette jersey! A Champ Bailey jersey! And whoa...a Jace Johnson jersey!!!" (He's a kid that played on the Delta football team this year and is #3). He totally calls it his Jace Johnson jersey every time he wears it, it's so funny. I didn't realize how much he paid attention to the football games, and now that basketball has started he's getting to know them too.

Austin got what he wanted too...a ripstick.

After we saw what Santa brought we opened presents. I happened to catch Halle on camera for this one...she was really excited about this present
Jammin' out to Just Dance 3!
With Christmas being on a Sunday, we got to get all dressed up for yet another picture! And it was yet another success!:)

Another great Christmas! Can't wait till next year!
