Tate had a birthday July 31st, and finally turned 5! Seems like he's been waiting for this day forever. With Austin and Halle having their birthdays in June, Tate waited and waited for his big day. He was super duper excited. We didn't do anything too special, especially since we just got back from Disneyland. But he didn't care, he was excited for anything and everything.
Halle helped me make the cupcakes and eat the leftover batter. She's always such a mess!
Tate just kept asking and asking when we could eat cake and open presents, I've never seen a kid so excited. Austin is a lot like me when it comes to things like birthdays and Christmas....inside excited but not gonna show it at all on the outside. My mom always says I was a pretty boring kid:) So to see Tate get so excited was fun. And Austin was even excited with him:)

You woulda thought I had put trick candles on the cakes, but he finally got 'em
Pretty cute bunch of crazy kids.
Tate got a basketball (he still has the cross-eye problem once in a while)....
Some Cocoa Cremes (he LOVES these) and a trip to Tuacahn from Grandma...
Some Buzz Lightyear stuff (that Halle thinks is hers. Why won't she just like princesses?!!!)...
I'm sure she's thinking here how much she loves Buzz Lightyear stuff more than her Tinkerbell stuff
And last but not least he got a new bike, much overdue! It was out on the porch waiting for him and he nearly walked right off the porch without seeing it
That's one excited smile!
Here he is giving it a whirl with his new helmet on...safety first!!!
We're so lucky to have Tate in our family. He's such a fun, loving, happy, in his own world sometimes, crazy kid. Love ya Tate!

that makes me laugh that your mom says you were a boring kid...good thing you're not boring anymore or I don't think we could be friends :) Happy Bday Tate! Looks like lots of fun
