June 9th is a big day in our family. It's Austin's birthday, Halle's birthday, my parents anniversary, Kurtis' parents anniversary, and my sister-in-laws birthday. Phew! I can't believe Austin in 8 and Halle is 1. Crazy!
Austin wanted to have some friends over for his birthday and go bowling. I wanted to keep it kinda low-key so we just had a few friends...a few boys can make a lot of noise!
Afterwards we headed home for a BBQ with the friends and family.
Tate, Aiden, Jarrett, Walker, Jonah, and AustinAustin is liking baseball right now so he wanted a baseball cake.
I thought Halle would dive right into her cake, but she only liked it for a second then was so done with it and wanted out of the high chair.
She didn't even get very messy!
She liked opening presents though.
She only kinda likes her doll, she actually would rather play with her brother's cars.
She acted pretty excited about the stroller though, now she just needs to learn to stand behind it and push it around. She's definitely in no rush to walk, doesn't want anything to do with it!
Balloons were probably her favorite part.
I didn't get a picture with Austin and his present cuz it wasn't set up yet, but he got a basketball hoop. He got fun stuff from friends and family too. His favorite and most used present was probably the Skip-Bo game and card shuffler my parents gave him. He loves to play card games and has played hours of Skip-Bo with my Mom so far this summer!
Happy Birthday kiddos! Two birthdays on the same day will be easy for a few years cuz Halle won't know what's going on for a while anyways. It might be interesting in the years to come, but Austin thinks it pretty cool to share a birthday with his sister. For a long time Tate said his birthday was June 9th, now he will finally admit its July 30th but he says he's already 4 cuz we had a birthday party for everyone else. Oh well.

Wow...that is a lot of celebrating in one day!!! Happy birthday to Austin and Halle and Tate kills me...he is hilarious! :)
