I'm a little slow posting, but on July 30th Tate turned 2! I can't believe it's been two years already! Tate has been so much fun and brings so much joy to our lives. He loves his brother and they have so much fun together, hope it's always like that! He loves animals of all kinds, loves to run everywhere, LOVES his cars, and loves to play ball with Austin. He still doesn't talk too much, but he's getting better. He speaks jiberish really well, he can tell you off with the best of them, you just don't know what he's saying!
We didn't do too much on his actual birthday cuz we kinda figured he didn't know the difference anyways! So we spent the day just hangin' out and making a cake (we really miss Marcia's cakes!) We saved the cake and ice cream for after our softball games and by then the cake looked pretty sad. The frosting was drooping off the cars, but oh well! Tate didn't even get to eat any that night due to a little fall he took at the ballpark. He bumped his head pretty good and proceeded to barf all over me so we were pretty worried and didn't dare let him eat too much. Luckily he got better as the night went on, but it was still kinda nervewracking!
This is Tate blowing out his candles. He got one out but then was kinda scared of them so Austin had to step in and help out!
Tate loved his presents. He got some tractors and more Cars stuff (he can never get enough of Cars!) and this fun little scooter. He's actually smiling in this picture so he must like it!
We knew Tate would like the zoo since he loves animals so much so we headed up there Saturday. I really think he liked the zoo better than Disneyland, crazy kid!
Gotta love the train ride!
