Christmas Eve 2008

I love Christmas Eve! The excitement, the food, the family, and the anticipation! This year, we went to my parents for Christmas Eve. We used to get together with the whole Albrecht clan, but there's getting to be so many people now that it's just too much. And since my Grandma has been in the care center things aren't quite the same! I love my memories of Christmas with my Grandparents!

So this year we got together with my Aunt and her family, and Kurtis' parents and his oldest sister Tammy. I forgot to get a group picture, oops! We had lots of fun though--eating, playing games, reading Christmas stories, and catching up with each other!

My kids love their Uncle Brycen! We read a really cute story called The Last Straw about the true spirit of Christmas giving!


It wouldn't be Christmas Eve without getting a new pair of Christmas PJ's!

This is what our boys do best...tackle each other! They decided to have a little wrestle and get good and wound up before heading to bed!

We almost forgot to leave cookies out for Santa! Austin remembered last minute and took one last chance to write a note to Santa and ask for a Wii for the 5th time!
