Day 5 found us in New York at last!!
This is a picture from the top of the Empire State Building, looking over to where the twin towers once stood. That tallest building there in the middle is the new Freedom tower under construction.
We went to Johnny Rockets for dinner, yummy food and a fun atmosphere. It was Sydney and Kailee's birthday so our awesome tour guide Liz went and found a killer bakery with super yummy cupcakes. We had Liz as our guide last year and she really is the best ever, takes extra good care of us and makes sure everyone is having a great time.
After dinner we went to the Mets game. We love baseball games and had lots of fun. I nearly froze to death but it was still a great time.
Most of the people in this picture are from our group. Everyone got a free Mets hat that day!

They have the big apple that comes up when someone hits a home run, always makes the game a little more exciting
