This was Austin's first year of Minor League Baseball. He was kinda supposed to do another year of Coach Pitch but they let us move him to minor league with the rest of the kids in his grade. He was on the Angels and they had a fun team with lots of friends and great coaches. He enjoyed every game and got better each game. He was a little shy at the plate, but I probably would be too if a 9 year old was throwing a baseball toward me:)
He waited to pitch all year and got the chance the last game. Unfortunately Kurtis and I were out of town so we missed it all....rack up another point for me and Mother of the Year award. Thanks Darla for taking pictures of him for me:)
Pretty sure I'm not OK with my kids getting older, but it is fun to see them starting new things and finding things they like to do. Austin for sure likes anything about sports, and he's willing to try about anything and has a good time doing it.
